SEN Teaching Assistants needed in Ebbw Vale

Job description

Teaching personnel are looking for teaching assistants with SEN experience to support pupils at a client school in Ebbw Vale. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. Candidates will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. You will be expected to engage the pupils and keep them on task. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30 and supporting daily trips to the shop or park may be required. Team teach trained candidates would be advantageous along with a competitive rate of pay. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
