SEN Teaching Assistants needed in Ebbw Vale

Job description

Teaching personnel are looking for SEN experienced teaching assistants to support pupils at a client school in Ebbw Vale. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour. Candidates will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. Assisting trips to the local shop and park may be required of you.

This is a school with excellent supporting staff and a friendly environment. There are both Temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates. There is a competitive rate of pay to be offered to candidates ranging from £50.44-£60:00 a day along with additional benefits.

The required time to work will be within 8:30-3:30, the pupils that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. SEN experience is essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
