SEN Teaching Assistant - Worthing

Job description

We are currently working with an Alternative Provision, just outside of central Worthing, which caters for Primary students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, on temporary long stay or a permanent basis.

The school are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a full time basis and long term basis, with potential for a permanent role. The work will take place within their KS2 and KS3 students, working specifically on a one to one or small group basis. The class sizes are around 6-8, and you will be working alongside other SEN specialists, including another member of support staff and a Full Qualified Teacher.

The successful candidates will have experience either within SEN or working with young people. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autism, MLD & would also have experience with personal care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
