SEN Teaching Assistant - Waltham Forest

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a special needs school in Waltham forest.

For this role, I am looking for a teaching assistant who has experience working in an SEN school with KS4 students. This role is to work specifically with a student who is at the high end of the autistic spectrum and needs support with personal care.

Manual handling training and assisting with personal care is essential for this role as the student not only is on the high level of the autistic spectrum but has complex needs. The student does display very challenging behaviour.

About the school:

The school is based in Waltham Forest and all students have a statement of special educational needs, they cater to pupils between 2-19 years old, some of which have physical disabilities as well as complex needs.

They are looking for teaching assistants who are ambitious and proactive in helping the school sustain their long term vision of providing the best education and support to their students.
