SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy in West Drayton

Job description

An SEN school in West Drayton area are looking for a long term Teaching Assistant who is willing to work with pupils with autism, moderate learning difficulties and behaviour difficulties.

The pupils that you will be working with display low levels of self esteem and may at times are difficult to communicate with. Any previous experience working in an SEN setting or pupils dealing with SEMH would be ideal but it is not a must.

For this role we are looking for a positive, committed individual who is willing to work closely with staff to manage behaviour and encourage pupils to take part.

SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Can provide 1:1 and group support across KS1-KS4
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Available for an Immediate start
  • Committed to school term time, full time hours : Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
