Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit teaching assistants with SEN experience to support at a client school based in Cardiff. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and or challenging behaviour. Candidates will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. Candidates will be expected to engage the pupils and keep them on task to meet their learning aims and objectives.

The students within the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Supporting daily trips to the shop or park may also be required of candidates. Manual Handling trained candidates would be advantageous for the role.

We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£60.00 a day, along with other additional benefits. There are temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates.
