SEN Teaching Assistant - Salisbury

A special needs school in Salisbury are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work with them on a flexible basis.

As well as their Autism unit, this 'Good' rated SEN school caters for pupils between the ages of 4-19 with various needs including moderate to severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties along with sensory impairments and speech and language difficulties.

They currently have a need for Teaching Assistants that can work on a flexible basis so whether you can work 1 day a week or 5 days a week, we would like to hear from you.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, it is essential you:

  • Have experience working with children or adults that have special needs
  • Have good written and verbal English
  • Can adapt to different working environments
  • Can offer social and emotional support to the students
  • Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and other professionals

It would be beneficial if you have experience working in a classroom environment but this is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
