SEN Teaching Assistant role - Waltham Forest

We are currently looking for a teaching assistant who has experience working with KS3-KS4 students with autism to become part of an amazing team at a multisite academy in Waltham Forest.
The role is to work closely with autistic students that display challenging forms of behaviour; this can be physical outbursts and verbal.
As a teaching assistant you will be working in a classroom supporting autistic learners in KS3-KS4 on a 1:1 basis.
For this role:
- KS3-KS4 support for Autistic learners
- 1:1 behaviour support
- Experience with challenging behaviour and autism in a SEN setting
- Strong personality
- Ability to provide 1:1 support for KS4 students with autism, ADHD, MLD and PMLD
