SEN Teaching Assistant Required in Reading

Our "good" Secondary school in Readingsetting is currently recruiting for a new Special Needs Learning Mentor to join their Supported Learning Department in September 18.

The School

This school is considered "good" in it's recent Ofsted inspection in 2017 and has been consistently good for the last few academic years. The Supported Learning Department you will be joining as the newest member of the team, will welcome you with lots support from established members of staff passionate about inclusive education. The team are able to offer interventions and 1:1 support for their students both within the classroom and outside of it and will tailor the plan uniquely to the pupil.

Essential

- Relevant degree or experience working with SEN

- Familiar with UK curriculum KS3-4

- Proven experience building rapport and trust on a 1:1 basis

Desirable

- SEN CPD

- Manual Handling Trained

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
