Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based SEN School who are seeking a hard working, empathetic and experienced Teaching Assistant. Teaching Personnel take candidates from a range of backgrounds including; education, care, youth workers, military, police, prison and those with first hand experience supporting their own family members who have additional needs. This School in particular is looking for a hard working, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with their pupils who have a range of needs. The pupils in this School are aged between 10 - 17 years of age and occasionally pupils will display challenging behaviours.

The School are seeking a candidate to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with their pupils and personal care may be required as part of this role. The School are hoping to appoint someone within the month and candidates will be expected to work full time hours - School hours are 8.35am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday.

The candidate suited to this role will have experience supporting pupils with SEN and have a passion for enriching the lives of pupils with additional needs.

The succesful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
