SEN Teaching Assistant needed for a Primary School in Oldham (OL8)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching assistant to work on a full time basis in a large primary school in Oldham. Teaching Personnel are working alongside this reputable Primary school to appoint a SEN Teaching assistant to start immediately. This large primary school has a very supportive environment for both students and staff. The school is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching assistant to support pupils with SEN, across both key stages. They are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant who will bring a positive working attitude.

The pupils are well behaved and are known to be friendly and welcoming. All lessons are carefully planned and are engaging for all pupils. The SEN department is inclusive and has great resources, as well as a sensory room equipped with sensory toys and equipment. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant would be working with SEN students across both key stages and would therefore need to be comfortable with all year groups in a Primary school.

The successful candidate will have experience working with SEN children within an educational background. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support SEN students in a 1:1/ small group basis within a class. They may also assist in interventions, as well as booster classes.
