SEN Teaching Assistant - Norwich

We are proud to be appointing an experienced or non-experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, to work in our SEMH specialist partner school in Norwich.

The Role:

You will be working with pupils between 5-16 years, encouraging them to take part in class activities and stay engaged in lessons. This is a very rewarding position, where no two days will be the same. You may be required to work in small groups as well as 1:1. Ideally, applicants should have some experience with challenging behaviour.

For this role, duties will include:

  • Promoting and assisting with the learning and development of the pupil(s) you are assigned to
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence and independence
  • Managing behavior
  • Preparing learning resources, as directed by the Teacher

Working Hours

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant you must be available to work from 8.30am until 3.30pm. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.
