SEN Teaching Assistant - Newham

*KS3-KS4 pupils*

We are currently looking for a teaching assistant who has experience supporting students with physical disabilities.

It is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a multisite academy working in a state of the art unit supporting students and following their tailored health care plan.

The unit caters to 25 students at present and have a maximum of 3-4 teaching assistants in each classroom supporting 8 students per class.

For this role we are looking for a teaching assistant who has supported in the following:

  • Autism
  • Downs syndrome
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Angelmans Syndrome
  • Tube feeding
  • Personal care
  • Manual handling training

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
