SEN Teaching Assistant needed for Westminster Primary School

Job description

We are looking for a passionate individual to work with a vibrant school in Westminster. The school are looking to add an additional member of support staff to join their team after Easter. The role is to assist a child with autism and challenging behaviour in key stage 1.This will be a full time role and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in a primary school setting
  • Be available to work 5 days a week (8:30am - 4pm)
  • Have a DBS on the update service (or be ready to apply for one in the near future)
  • Have SEN experience (ideally with autism or challenging behaviour)
  • Be able to assist with delivering engaging, effective and stimulating lessons
  • Have good behavioural management on a 1:1 basis and whilst working with groups

  • The school is 2 form entry
  • Graded ' Good' in their last Ofsted report
  • 'well above average' progress score in both reading and maths
  • 10 minute walk from Queens park station
  • A team of friendly and supportive staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
