SEN teaching assistant needed for Stockport Secondary School

Teaching Personnel have been asked to recruit two SEN teaching assistants for our partner secondary school in Stockport. Due to an increased intake of students who have learning support needs for the new academic year the school are looking to appoint two full time teaching assistants for a September/October start.

If you are currently working in an educational setting and have experience working with students who need supporting in areas of moderate learning difficulties, social emotional mental health, behaviour, autism and ADHD. Applications are also welcome from graduates with a related degree or people with work experience in the fields of health and social care, youth work or sports coaching.

Working as an SEN teaching assistant is a highly rewarding job role providing tremendous satisfaction as you have the ability to enhance a young persons school experience and help them reach their highest potential possible. Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school can be accessed via a local train station or just off the A523, A6 for those who drive.
