SEN Teaching Assistant needed for Outstanding School

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants with experience working with children on the Autistic Spectrum for an all-through SEN School in Northampton. This will be a variety of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply placements.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates…

  • With experience in working with Autism/ASC, Challenging Behaviour, SLD, PMLD
  • Who have experience supporting behaviour difficulties
  • With patience who can be a positive role model for children
  • Trained in Team-Teach/positive handling (not essential, but preferred)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
