SEN Teaching Assistant needed ASAP in Burnley!

Job description

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a Burnley based SEN School which caters specifically for pupils with SEN, including, Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities, Learning Difficulties and ADHD. The School is smaller than average and it has links with many mainstream schools in the area. The School cater for pupils across KS3/4 but many of the pupils are learning at a lower level.

The candidate suitable for this role will have experience supporting pupils with SEN, be enthusiastic, hard working, empathetic and willing to work with pupils who have additional needs and may require personal care from time to time. The candidate will be available full time, seeking a role in an SEN provision in the East Lancashire area and be willing to work with pupils who have additional needs.

The role will be full time, but start on an ad-hoc basis initially and candidates must be flexible enough to work on an ad-hoc basis initially. The role will require you to work with pupils who occasionally display challenging behaviours also.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 60 per day
