Teaching Personnel are working with a large seoondary school in Chesterfield S43 who are looking for a specialist Teaching Assitant to support a Year 11 student with significant SEN needs. 

The student has very complex SEND - ASD, ADHD, PDA, severe anxiety and paranoia. We would be looking for a very experienced SEND support worker to work with this student on their life skills, independence and very slowly encouraging them to leave the family homes for walks etc. Someone with significant autism experience would be preferrable. 

The job would entail a phased start, looking to be working full time after Christmas depending on the students progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
