Teaching Personnel work with a Leyland based School which provides education and support for KS1/2 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ODD, ADHD, Autism and Challenging Behaviours.

The School is based in the Leyland area with close links to public transport and ample on site parking for car drivers.

The School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in their KS2 year 4/5 class and provide support for the Teacher with behaviour management and work on a 1:1 basis with some of the pupils in class.

The behaviour in this School can be very challenging and therefore candidates with their Team Teach training (or candidates undertaking this training in the half term) will be favoured. The role would suit a confident, hard working, enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant who has experience de-escalating challenging behaviours and working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties.

The candidate must be available full time, School hours are approx. 8.30am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday and as a long term member of staff you may be expected to attend CPD events and open evenings.
