Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based SEN School which caters exclusively for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education. The School provides education and support for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviours and Conduct Disorder. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic, experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant for a long term role in the Leyland area.

The role would suit a hard working candidate who has experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours although, the School will consider candidates from a Youth Worker, Military, Care or first hand experience background. The role will suit a candidate with a passion for working with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The candidate must be available full time, have strong classroom management skills and ideally hold their Team Teach qualification. The candidate must be able to work the full School hours which are 8.30am - 4pm. The candidate must be seeking a long term role as the position may become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 65 per day

- Long term position available
