SEN Teaching assistant jobs -Walthamstow

Teaching Personnel are seeking committed, passionate teaching assistants for a SEN school in Walthamstow to support KS1-KS5 pupils with Autism, behavioural difficulties and severe learning disabilities. Due to an increased number of additional pupil referrals, we have exciting new roles to provide additional 1:1 support for SEN pupils. The roles will vary from an immediate start one term contract post in the first instance with the potential to become permanent.

We are looking for SEN Teaching assistants in the following posts:

  • Specialist Behaviour teaching assistant role for Pupil Referral Unit 1:1 Support
  • Specialist Teaching Assistants working 1:1 with highly Autistic students , PECs knowledge would be an advantage
  • Teaching assistant to work in complex needs class , must have manual Handling training and be willing to support with intimate care
  • Full time- term time 8.30am - 3.30pm
  • Immediate start

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
