An 'Outstanding' Primary school in Hampton are looking for a Special Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (TA) to start immediately or in September. As an SEN Teaching Assistant in this school, you will be prepared to work in a challenging but rewarding environment supporting some of the most inspiring pupils!

The school is well resourced with a fun, supportive and highly specialised team providing high quality support for their pupils.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience working with children with autism, moderate to complex learning difficulties however candidates with challenging behaviour experience (SEMH/EBD) will also be considered.

The successful candidate will:

  • Live in the Hampton area
  • Have experience supporting autism, moderate to complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour
  • Have a genuine interest in the development of children with special needs
  • Be resilient and be use their initiative
  • Work well in a team and can take on board criticism positively
  • £60 to £70 per day with exceptions made dependant on experience, qualification and training specific to this position

If you have any of the below:

  • Psychology, Sociology or core subject degree
  • SEN or Primary TA/Learning Support Assistant experience
  • Live in the Hillingdon borough.
  • Looking to do your PGCE.
  • Training in Team Teach, PECS, TEACCH, SPELL, ABA, Elklan and Attention Autism is ideal but not compulsory

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
