SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking specialist SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a school with children who present with children who present with ASC, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour and SLD.

The school is based in the NG8 area of Nottingham and they are seeking candidates with the following attributes:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children and young people either in education or health care settings.
  • Confidence to work on your own initiative, as well as contributing to a team
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum at a primary and/or secondary level
  • Confident to manage challenging behaviour and calm potentially difficult situations
  • Be able to participate in any extra-curricular activities required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
