SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you looking for a rewarding role within the Vale of Glamorgan area? Do you have a background in supporting children or adults with Special Educational Needs? Are you looking for flexible work?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting two SEN Teaching Assistants to start full-time in September. The role involves supporting a child (in reception) with Special Education Needs on a 1:1 basis.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Assisting the child with work set by the teacher
- Respecting the school’s ethos, and maintaining the standards set out within their school policies (i.e. behaviour management)
- Helping tidy the classroom
- Being flexible when needed in other classes
The most desirable candidate will have:
- At least a year’s worth of relevant experience
- Safeguarding training
- A child only DBS and be registered with the EWC (although Teaching Personnel can help with this)
- Team Teach
- Be hardworking, positive, and caring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
