SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistants are currently in demand in and around the Trafford area. Teaching Personnel are recruiting multiple TA's for our partner secondary schools in Trafford with SEN a priority. Both Full-time and Part-time opportunities are available to start ASAP. There will also be prospects to increase teaching strengths with supportive teaching departments where there will be regular training course and the potential to earn school based contract.

This vacancy can benefit those who require flexibility for either Full time or Part time work catering to the candidates needs. We can also suit the candidate's location as we are partnered with a wide range of schools around central and South Manchester as well as the following areas; Stockport, Tameside, Cheshire East, Warrington and Glossop.

Graduates or candidates with work experience in health and social care, youth work or sports coaching are welcome. This could also be a platform for those who want to pursue a professional Teaching career as it would enhance future prospects. This role would be ideal if you have experience in education and working with students in areas of moderate learning difficulties, social emotional mental health, behaviour, autism and ADHD, but it is not essential.

What is essential is to have a good understanding of SEN and have some experience with children within a SEN environment. It is also essential to have suitable references available to proceed to the next stage and have an enhanced DBS or be ready to apply for one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
