SEN teaching assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants to work within a mainstream environment that thrives on changing the lives of their students. This is for an immediate start and will continue for the rest of this academic year with permanent positions available for the right candidate from September.

To be considered a real asset to the school, you must demonstrate:

  • Experience and knowledge within SEN, predominantly with those that suffer from SEMH
  • Ability to provide 1:1 and small group support work
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A Genuine passion for Education
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • An energetic and enthusiastic 'can do' attitude about learning
  • Both a friendly and professional manor

The school is overseen by a committed and passionate Head teacher, who values and supports the staff. Ofsted have rated the school as 'Good' and the children are currently performing above the Local Authority. With an immediate start and looking for a candidate who has a passion for SEN or Education from the Rotherham area!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
