Special Needs Classroom Assistant
Cardiff
£10.20-£10.87 per hour.

We are currently working on behalf of an Special Needs School in Ely, Cardiff who are looking to take on a number of Special Needs Classroom Assistants to work across their school. The children within this school are aged between 3 and 19. It is a friendly school with a tight knit staff team who are more than willing to support you in your new role.
You will be working in a small class of around 6-8 children who will need extra support with accessing school work, personal needs and their well-being. Having an ability to create relationships with these children and the other staff members around you is essential. This is a very rewarding role as the smallest of differences you are making everyday, really matters!
Worried you have never worked within a Special School previously? Please worry no more! As mentioned above the school are more than happy to support you to ensure you fully flourish within their school.
To be eligible for this role you will;
- Have a caring and kind personality
- Enjoy working with children regardless of the nature of their needs.
- You will need a DBS that is on the update service that covers you for both Children & Adults. We can help you apply for this if you haven’t got one already.
- Be reliable and happy to get stuck in.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
