Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for practiced SEN Specialists to work within Harrow. We are looking for individuals who are willing to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for SEN students and make a difference through 1 to 1 interaction and learning. There are various schools in the area that are looking for people on a temporary and permanent basis.

The ideal candidate:

  • Have a passion for learning
  • Be motivated and have the ability to inspire children
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Use initiative, the ability to adapt quickly and to be inventive when dealing with different needs
  • Reliable, organised and understanding
  • To provide support consistently and efficiently

As a potential candidate with experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
