**Job Title**: SEN Teaching Assistant

**Location**: Worthing, West Sussex

**Salary**: £12 per hour

**Hours**: Full-time, 35 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Worthing. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have special educational needs (SEN) and provide support to them in their learning and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN

- Assisting the teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

- Helping students develop their social and communication skills

- Encouraging and motivating students to participate in classroom activities

- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Resilient, proactive, patient, and enthusiastic

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual students

- Flexibility to work full-time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
