SEN Teaching Assistant

Anyone with a child or experience working with children with ADHD will know that in a lot of cases children will benefit from routine and structure. As a result of lock down many children’s routines have been turned upside down with many parents reporting that because of home schooling their child’s symptoms worsened over the period of time. As staying at home became normal and new routines started to formulate many pupils then found themselves going back to school and having to rebuild once more.

In relation to the above, Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools in Doncaster who require support in recruiting ADHD specialist support assistants to provided 1:1 support to students who need it the most.

We are interested in hearing from people with full time availability to provide constant support to a child/children within their care. The right individual would have a patient and understanding demeaner and would ideally have past experience supporting children at home or in an educational based setting with ADHD. They would have the ability to build strong last relationships quickly with students ensuring that the child’s best interest are paramount at all times.

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work 8:15am – 3:30pm with some additional lunch time support included.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
