Job opportunity at an SEN School situated in Romford
The school provides tailored learning for children with moderate to severe special needs. They are looking to recruit an exceptional full time teaching assistant to join their large staff team.
The role:
- Support a key stage 3 class of students who have moderate learning difficulties including autism and Down syndrome
- Work full time, 08:45am – 15:45pm, each day Monday – Friday, term time only
- Follow the national curriculum (lower grades)
- Assist with setting up the room, provide 1:1 support for students in the class, liaise with other staff members
- Assist the teacher in providing behaviour support where necessary
- There will be opportunity to apply for a permanent position in this school before the summer
