SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Westminster
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Duration: Immediate for two terms, permanent contract opportunity
Pay: GBP65-75 per day (paid on a weekly basis – negotiable dependant on experience and references)
Do have experience as a teaching Assistant, or working closely with young children? Do you have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work both fulltime within a school in Westminster. Teaching Assistants will work 1:1 and in small groups delivering behaviour and education support programmes to pupils.
The school we are working with are looking for a Teaching Assistant or those with SEN experience that are:
- Open to working in schools with young people aged 5-18 who have additional needs
- Has a strong passion for working with children
- Deliver 1:1 support to allow the child to access the national curriculum
- Deliver personal care where appropriate
To be considered you will need the following requirements:
- Experience with working with students with SEN or working in education
- Available 8:15am - 3:45pm five days a week
- Local to Westminster or willing to travel
The school is OfSTED graded ‘good’ and is a fully inclusive community school with a Church of England ethos and teach their children to have a wide and balanced view of the world. Their vision as a school is to teach Christian values of friendship, compassion and service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
