SEN Teaching Assistant position for September start!
Teaching Personnel are currently searching for an experienced SEN teaching assistant who has a background of providing strong 1:1 care within the classroom. The role is within a ‘good’ primary school for students aged 4-11 in the Wandsworth area.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to engage in professional development and gather experience in an excellent and inclusive school. This role will focus on working 1:1 with a pupil with additional learning needs, so experience in this area is desirable. The role will revolve around assistance in both vocational subjects as well as the core lessons. This position is great for anyone wanting to gather experience in a primary school with the hope of completing a PGCE, or for someone wanting to continue working with a student with additional needs.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, personable, and confident, with a strong command of the English language and understanding of both the KS1 & KS2 curriculums. Most of all, we want someone who is enthusiastic and driven to make a positive difference each day within the school.
