SEN Teaching Assistant

Join a popular secondary school in Chesterfield seeking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full time basis from November

The successful candidates will be supporting pupils across years 7 – 11 under the direction of the schools SENCO. The role will involve working with pupils one-to-one and in small groups, supporting them academically and on a personal/emotional level.

The ideal candidate will successfully build rapport with pupils and will act as a positive role model to all students. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive SEN department in a vibrant secondary school.

  • Social Emotional Mental Health
  • Learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia/ Dyspraxia)

Located in Chesterfield, the school is just a short drive from the town centre and accessible from the M1 and A61. For those on public transport, the school is easily accessible via bus routes from the surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
