Teaching Personnel is working closely with a Manchester primary school based in the Wythenshawe region. The Manchester school is looking to recruit a special education needs (SEN) teaching assistant for a year 4 class. The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with the SEN pupil helping them to develop and to support them through the school day.
The pupil has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the school is looking for an SEN assistant to support the child. The pupil has difficulty focusing whilst in the classroom environment so needs someone to help them stay focused. The role will also involve working separately with the child away from the classroom on a 1:1 basis to help them with social and communication.
If you have previous experience working with an SEN pupil either in or out of a school setting then this role could be the ideal opportunity for you.

- Competitive salary £14,540 - £18,050
The Manchester based primary school is a "good" school that is efficiently run and is looking for a passionate individual to join the year 4 classroom and support the SEN pupil.
Being a practising Catholic or holding a Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) would be of preference for the school.
