We are currently seeking a KS1 or KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join the Primary department of a primary school in Maidenhead.
You will be assisting the class teacher in delivering classes in core subjects: Maths, English and Science. As a Primary Teaching Assistant you will have good knowledge of the primary National Curriculum and be able to confidently assist pupils on a one to one basis and also in small groups. Ideally the candidate will want to aspire to become a Primary Teaching assistant.
You will be mainly working with students who need extra help but be able to also assist the rest of the class as necessary. You may also be required to help students with SEN, therefore will need previous experience working with SEN.
As a KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant you will need at least one years’ experience working with young people in a learning environment.
Successful Candidates MUST have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
- At least 1+ years’ experience working with young people in a learning environment
- Have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
