SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN School in Hinckley - Leicestershire, keen to recruit 2 full-time teaching assistants starting from October 2020.

Initially, the roles would be across 1 term however, there is a fantastic opportunity for roles to be longer term or potentially lead to permanent positions within the school. Preferably, the candidate will have experience working with children aged 11-16 and would have worked within a SEN setting previously. This is desirable however, it is not essential. 

This type of role would entail:

  • Providing additional support to students within the classroom
  • Liaising with class teachers on gifted and talented children
  • Assisting in various different day to day classes
  • Lunch-Time Supervision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
