SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, passionate about education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

A primary academy in York have approached Teaching Personnel to support them with their recruitment of SEN Teaching Assistants for a variety of short and long term roles.

This school has a fantastic additional provision for children with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). Cover is often required at short notice and so this role is suitable for a passionate Teaching Assistant who is flexible and adaptable.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Teaching Assistant and/or have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Be able to demonstrate initiative, reliability and commitment
• Be committed to creating a safe and inspiring learning environment
• Have at least 3 full days per week availability
