Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in our client school in Norwich. This particular SEN school has part and full time positions available.
- Monday - Friday, 8.30-3.30
- SEN Support - Complex learning needs
- Full Time/part time
The school is an SEN School based in Norwich catering for pupils with complex learning needs. Pupils are aged 4-16. The school is based just outside of central Norwich (NR2) and has on site parksing for staff.
You will be working within the classroom, supporting the teacher with the lessons. You will be working both on a 1-1 basis and with small groups and there will also be other TA's in the class. Due to their needs, the pupils can display challenging behaviour and you should be confident supporting this.
To be successful in this role you should:
- have experience supporting Autism; either within an education setting or on a personal basis
- be confident supporting challenging behaviour
- be flexible and adaptable to working with different ages/classes
- Have a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through teaching personnel
- UK address and right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
