SEN Teacher

We are seeking to recruit FULL TIME Teaching Assistants to work with students with special educational needs. 

Applicants should

• Have a good, general education (GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above)
• Have previous experience of working with children with SEND
• Have a willingness to undertake training in medical procedures
• Be enthusiastic, organised and flexible

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant for pupils with complex needs, including ASD, is desirable but the successful candidate will be working within a skilled and supportive team. They will be expected to provide support to individual students, small groups or work in whole class settings across the curriculum. They will receive excellent support from a hardworking and dedicated team.

The school in question is a special school for pupils aged 4 to 19 years. Children and young people join us with a wide range of different needs and bring a wonderful mix of interests and personalities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
