SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in Ascot who has previously worked with pupils or have personal experience with Autism and Asperger's.

The core aim of the school is to ensure that all pupils who leave the school are in employment, training or further education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Familiar using either PEC'S, Makaton or BSL (not essential).
  • Trained in Team Teach (Preferred not essential)
  • Confident working with children 1:1 or small groups
  • Confident supporting another member of staff.
  • Hands on and not afraid to get stuck in

We require candidates to apply who are passionate in assisting children with Special Educational Needs to access the curriculum.
