Job description

We are currently seeking an energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support as part of a dedicated team at a specialist SEN School in the St Austell area.

The Role;

The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant depends upon the support needs of each pupil. The school supports children from KS1 up to KS4 and the successful candidate will need to work flexibly alongside other support staff and teachers within the school. You will need to be able to take guidance and instructions quickly and efficiently to ensure the right support is provided to pupils at the school.

The ideal candidate will have;

- Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, physical and/or learning difficulties.

- An approachable and empathetic personality.

- A desire and passion to support children with severe physical and/or learning difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
