We are working with a progressive secondary school in Rochdale seeking a creative and driven individual to join their rewarding English department. The department uphold school values and are looking for an individual to maintain their ‘outstanding’ status. The successful candidate will be required to start immediately.

You will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in teaching, tutoring and GCSE support. You must also maintain behaviour as well as engaging student of all abilities ensuring students receive a positive and information learning experience.

The department will support you in the role and you will have access to resources, enabling you the ability to teach the best quality lessons and include PPE sessions within your timetable. You must have excellent subject knowledge and hold QTS or QTLS to be considered for the role.

Job Role:

  • Teaching across the English curriculum to Key Stages 3 & 4
    • Deliver GCSE English tutoring groups for students who need additional support
    • Working effectively with English Teachers to plan outstanding lessons engaging students of all abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
