SEN Teaching Assistant required, Manchester Primary School, Fallowfield (M14)
A client school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14) are seeking a committed SEN TA to join their KS2 team, working within the Year 5 class. This role will start on Wednesday 8th September 2021, on a full time basis and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
The successful applicant will work on a 1:1 basis with a child who has Autism and works from an EHCP, experience of working from a tailored learning plan is preferred but not essential. However, the successful candidate must have experience in building strong working relationships with children, as this child can struggle with social interaction with classmates. A prior knowledge of the KS2 curriculum would be extremely beneficial.
The successful TA will have the opportunity to within a larger than average 3 form primary school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14). This ‘GOOD’ rated school believes children learn better and achieve more when they are ‘happy and when they are stimulated by their curriculum’.
In return the school can offer £65-£70 per day and the opportunity to work within a well-supported environment at a ‘GOOD’ school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
