SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant in the Northamptonshire area. You will be working with children aged 16+ to post graduate who have a variety of special needs and disabilities. You will be assisting them with one to one tuition, assisting learners to build in confidence and overcome barriers to learn and progress. You will be working in a brand new state of the arts building with fantastic facilities and resources, perfect to deliver the students the support they require.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working within an SEN environment and has the patience and caring nature to help the students to fulfil their full potential. You will also require a passion for education, leadership skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and individually.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
