About the role:

Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher

Location: Poole, Dorset

Pay: £500-£650pw

Start Date: As soon as possible! (Now or September)

Hours: TBC

Details about the Role:

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a Supply Primary Teacher to work with both KS1 and KS2 levels in the Poole area. We have a variety of schools within this area who are looking to start straight away! We are looking for a candidate who have experience working with a variety of different age groups and subjects, has high standards, is professional and being able to deliver quality learning and support for all children’s needs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Having patience, positive attitude and being professional is essential for this role.
  • Maintaining a positive learning environment and providing classroom discipline.
  • Providing pupils students with necessary feedback, support and encouragement.
  • Able to support children with SEN and disabilities.
  • Being able to complete all essential tasks such as, administration task, providing feedback and marking where necessary.
  • Complyingto the school’s policies and procedures.

The role with entail:

The main roles and responsibilities will be coming classes in the absence of the classes’ teacher. Majority of lessons will be pre prepared, therefore you will need to just develop the task prepared. Being about the adapt to all types of different subjects is key.  Developing positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues within the workplace is very important.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status UK (QTS) or similar qualification.
  • Having confidence in providing Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 efficiently.
  • Being able to provide effective management within the classroom.
  • Providing a positive environment for children’s development and a sustainable learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
