Full time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant required for a Salford based Secondary school starting immediately for a fixed 2 term contract.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant required immediately, Salford Secondary.
  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN is essential; any additional experience working within an SEN capacity will be highly advantageous.
  • Due to the complex nature of the pupils you will be supporting, an empathetic, resilient and caring nature must be at the forefront of your practice.
  • Earn up to £57 - £80 per day.

This diverse secondary school has a higher than average rate of SEN alongside Pupil Premium, with just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, there is ongoing SEN training provided for all members of due to the high levels of identified pupils. You ca expect to join a devoted staff team, working under the guidance of senior leadership and the SEND team.

SEND training for staff should be an ongoing programme to ensure that staffs are up to date with the latest developments in SEND and the SENCO is designing such a programme for the coming school year."
