Large Bolton Secondary school are seeking to appoint an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (TA) ton a full time basis from September 2019.

Due to an expansion within the department this Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school wish to recruit a dynamic SEN TA to work within their support provisions across Key Stages 3 and 4. If you wish to be considered for this exciting opportunity then please see blow for further information.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant required from September 2019.

  • Must have previous experience working with Special Educational Needs to be considered due to the sensitive nature of the role.
  • Earn up to £1200+ per month.

Located in the Farnworth region of Bolton this over subscribed Secondary school is distinguished within the local community for its approach towards outstanding teaching and learning. the SEND department boasts specially trained support staff working under the guidance of the SENCO and Senior Leadership Team.

As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant you can expect to;

  • Support young people with varying special Educational Needs in class alongside the class teacher.
  • Work 1:1 and in small intervention groups to support with the teaching and learning of young people.
  • Promote an inclusive learning practice in order to diminish the gap between pupils with SEN and their peers.

Located less than a few miles away from the Bolton City Centre, the school is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public Transport Links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the school.
