Are you a SEN Teaching assistant looking for a new role within a Secondary school in Manchester?

Teaching Personnel are working with our client school in the Manchester area, looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full time position starting in January 2019. Our client school have a gap in the support staff, and wish for an enthusiastic, dedicated candidate to join their team.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant when registered with Teaching Personnel, you can expect:

  • Working in an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Manchester
  • Full time post until at least the end of the academic year
  • Earn up to £1400 per week, paid in weekly arrears
  • Working in a supportive, inclusive and friendly school

This role will suit candidates that have experience of working with individuals with a range of special educational needs. In particular, our client school would like candidates that are familiar with students that are dyslexic, have autism or have complications with their physical ability.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be:

  • Assisting pupils on a 1:1 basis in an attempt to raise progress and attainment
  • Working with pupils in groups to support them in a range of subjects
  • Supporting the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of class work
  • Working with students with a variety of needs including learning, behaviour and SEN
