SEN Teaching Assistant job - West Drayton

An Ofsted rated 'outstanding' day/residential school for children and young people aged 7-19 with complex learning difficulties and speech and language disorders in West Drayton have a great opportunity for Special Needs Teaching Assistants.

Due to school's expanding student numbers, they are looking for teaching assistants to start immediately. Ideally successful candidates will have had experience of supporting students with Autism, Severe Learning difficulties and complex needs.

Overall, they are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who want to make a difference and be part of a creative and supportive team.


  • Living in West Drayton, East Acton or surrounding areas and can travel to West Drayton daily?
  • Able to work full time 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday?
  • Experienced or interested in supporting children and young people with special needs in education
  • Confident in supporting students with their learning both academically and socially

Teaching Personnel can offer:

  • A dedicated consultant placement
  • CPD training - NSPCC Safeguarding, Team Teach, NASEN, Ruth Miskin Phonics
  • Wide range of positions: 1:1, 2:1, day to day, long term and temporary to permanent

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
